Is Holiness Lost in Housework?
Modern technologies, including 4-D ultrasound imaging, allow us to see and hear a baby in the womb very soon after conception.
Can anyone deny that a baby is growing within a mother’s womb when we can see and hear an unborn child with modern aids?
Human life begins at conception. Ultrasound imaging shows a heart beating in the third week. The Biblical narrative about John leaping in the womb of His mother (Luke 1:41) confirms that life begins in the womb. These are only a few reasons why Catholics cherish and defend their belief that life begins at conception.
An embryoscopy video from the Endowment for Human Development (http://www.EHD.org) showing a 6 week-old unborn baby with beating heart.
