Pope begins his vacations

http://www.romereports.com Benedict XVI has left for his vacation home in Castel Gandolfo, a small town some 20 miles away from Rome, to begin his summer holidays. During the month of July, he will have no public ceremonies, except for the Sunday Angelus, and he will not be receiving any formal visitors.

More than 500 Mexican children write thank you cards to the pope for his visit

http://www.romereports.com In late March, the pope visited Mexico. Thousands of people welcomed him in the city of Leon. Many of the children that saw him were so impressed that decided to write thank you letters addressed to the Vatican. This Mexican journalist personally brought some of them to Rome.
