Catholic Cemeteries Buries the Indigent
Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Chicago is offering free graves and services to help alleviate the backlog of bodies at the Cook County Morgue. Cardinal Francis George led a graveside memorial service for the indigent. On the cable-TV program, The Church, the Cardinal and You, Cardinal George talked with host Andrew Lyke about the role of the Archdiocese as a good citizen.

Ghale Welcoming Committee
The women of the Ghale Community in the Diocese of Garissa in northeastern Kenya welcome a visit by the staff of Catholic Relief Services. It’s the first time CRS has been back since the construction and installation of a water pump that has greatly improved life and livelihoods here, and the women are showing their appreciation.
