Pope’s Urbi et Orbi blessing: Benedict XVI asks for peace in Syria, Irak, Nigeria and Holy Land
Pope Benedict XVI gave his Urbi et Orbi blessing on Easter Sunday from the Saint Peter’s Basilica. About 100,000 people flocked to St. Peter’s Square in Rome to hear the pope’s Easter message. He called for an “end to bloodshed in Syria and an immediate commitment to the path of respect, dialogue and reconciliation”. “May the many refugees from that country find the acceptance and solidarity capable of relieving their dreadful sufferings”, he added.

A BLESSING FOR YOU
With God in Jesus Christ, Who is THE way, THE truth and THE life, man can achieve the most wonderful things – and live forever!
Without His blessings, all things, including man fallen in sin, return merely “to dust”.
The choice is extreme. The choice is clear. And every man must choose.
