Jul 08 – Homily: Appriciate What has been Given Us
Fr. Dominic uses the Gospel account of Jesus’ return to His hometown to point to the need to appreciate the simple things in life. Just because something is familiar to us and we take it for granted does not mean it is not a great gift and therefore should be appreciated.

Ghale Welcoming Committee
The women of the Ghale Community in the Diocese of Garissa in northeastern Kenya welcome a visit by the staff of Catholic Relief Services. It’s the first time CRS has been back since the construction and installation of a water pump that has greatly improved life and livelihoods here, and the women are showing their appreciation.
