40 Days For Life - Day 1
Today is day 1 of 40 Days for Life. Here is a video that was aired on EWTN, that was created by 40 Days. They are doing a mighty work in our country, advocating an end to abortion and petitioning our Lord to end this evil that scourges our nation.

I cannot get this video to run for more than a couple of minutes without it stopping. I have a high-speed DSL line, so that shouldn’t be the problem. Any ideas?

In Australia we are 2 weeks away from a federal Election and I have been trying with some other pro-lifers to organise campaigns in certain electorates to throw the spotlight on various candidates positions on these Life issues. I was sitting here at my desk thinking that it was going to be very hard and it would be so much easier just voting and doing nothing else but then my son, who is studying medicine, sent me your web site address and while casually looking at your site, I saw your video with those personal testimonies. Seeing those great pro-lifers made me feel ashamed to think I was running away because of my personal comfort.
It reminds me of something a priest ( St Josemaria de Balguer), for whom I have a great love, used to say, ” You work like everything depends on you and you pray like everything depends on God”. May he give us His strength and help us overcome our cowardice!
